Terms of Use — Booth Ledger

By downloading or using Booth Ledger ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the applicable App Store or Google Play terms of service.

Acceptable Use

You may use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

In-App Purchases

Booth Ledger offers a one-time Pro upgrade. All purchases are final and processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

If you restore a previous purchase on a new device, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app.

No Financial or Tax Advice

The App is a record-keeping tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for guidance on your specific tax situation.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

Your Data

All financial records you enter are stored locally on your device. We recommend periodically exporting your records as CSV files as a personal backup. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
